Therapy can be a place where you feel heard, understood, and supported—not judged. My approach is person-centered, practical, and collaborative, with an emphasis on helping you develop real-world tools to create meaningful change. I work with teens, adults, and families experiencing challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress, emotional regulation, substance use, recovery, and major life transitions.
My work with adults includes support for anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, and major life changes. Together, we can explore what’s keeping you stuck and develop practical ways to cope, communicate, and move forward.
With teens, I focus on creating a comfortable, supportive environment where they can talk openly without feeling lectured or judged. I help adolescents navigate peer pressure, confidence and self-esteem, anxiety, relationships, school and family stress, emotional regulation, and other challenges that come with growing up.
I also specialize in substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns. As a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC), I have specialized experience helping individuals understand their relationship with alcohol or drugs, work toward recovery, and address the underlying issues that can contribute to substance use.
My therapeutic approach incorporates Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT skills, and trauma-informed care, when appropriate. I believe therapy should be both a safe place to talk and a place where you learn practical skills you can use in everyday life.
